What a Cloud desktop can do for your business...

Normally, your computer device opens to a desktop where you can find all your downloaded programs, but these programs are only accessible from that specific computer.

SkyDesktop is a Cloud desktop. You can log into your SkyDesktop from any computer device with a Web browser and automatically connect to all the Cloud apps you have selected. All your apps are right where you left them, just like on your home desktop.

 

 

Okay, so what is the Cloud?

The easiest way to understand the Cloud is to think of it as a utility, like electricity. You only pay for as much electricity as you use. The Cloud works on the same principle.

In case of disaster, how can I retrieve my company's data?

With programs sitting on your computer desktop or on servers, the only option to recovering data is to physically take the equipment with you.

When you sign up for a SkyDesktop account, a unique site will automatically be created for you. Simply choose the URL that you would like to give to your company site.

To access your site from then on, open a Web browser, type in your URL, and then log in using your unique username and password. You can launch any of your SkyDesktop Cloud apps simply by clicking on them and you never have to worry about multiple usernames and passwords again.
