Humanitarian Aid Workers around
the Globe Just Got Closer Together Relief
International Uses StreetSmart - to Power their IT Infrastructure and Connect
Offices around the Globe TARZANA, Calif. (November 7,
2006) - InfoStreet Inc. (www.infostreet.com), creator of the fully managed, on-demand
IT software suite, StreetSmart, announced that Relief International (RI) is using
the StreetSmart suite to streamline its international aid operation. As part of
this relationship, RI receives a non-profit discount and is using a dedicated
StreetSmart server hosted in InfoStreet's world class data center. StreetSmart's
array of on-demand business software will provide mission critical functionality
such as email, shared calendaring, workflow, and CRM and will allow RI to stay
connected with their offices across the globe. "The humanitarian
work being accomplished by Relief International is both humbling and impressive,"
says Siamak Farah, CEO of InfoStreet. "Understanding the uphill battle they
face, it is our privilege to play even a small role in helping this impactful
organization. Our goal in providing this service is to make sure RI is always
running the latest interoffice technology so that they can focus on their noble
humanitarian cause to ease the suffering of people around the planet, as opposed
to being concerned with day-to-day IT activity." "We are pleased
to be working with a company of the caliber of InfoStreet," says Dr. Farshad
Rastegar, CEO of Relief International. "In our work, it is imperative that
our network stays intact and that our people and offices stay connected. We rely
heavily on partners such as InfoStreet to keep our internal technology working
efficiently, enabling us to focus on saving lives." About Relief
