TARZANA, Calif. (7/21/2015) – Time is simultaneously the most valuable and the scarcest resource in every small business. Project time tracking, employee timesheets, and time billing activities keep a company on track and produce income. Yet, when team members are busy working on projects, time tracking often falls to the bottom of the priority list and tops the procrastination items, ultimately reducing efficiency and potential revenue. To address this vital concern, InfoStreet, Inc. has partnered with TimeCamp to bring their online time tracking software to the SkyAppMarket, SkyDesktop’s cloud app marketplace. SkyDesktop is a cloud desktop where users can store, manage, and access all of their files and cloud apps in one location, and with one login. TimeCamp’s automated time tracking software makes it easy to monitor productivity with both manual and automatic tracking options.
TimeCamp’s time tracking software makes it easy for users to monitor the time they spend on a project, whether on a desktop computer or a mobile phone. When a task or project is created, users need only to click the timer associated with the project to record the time expenditure. Manual entry methods are also available, allowing users enter values for offline activities that could not use the timer. TimeCamp also allows users to combine multiple entries of a single task, complete with notes for extra clarity. As an additional feature, small businesses can then set billing rates and time budgets for certain projects in order to track the progress, as well accurately estimating revenues and costs.
“In small business, teams often work on multiple projects, and as a result, time evaporates at an accelerated level. This makes detailed time management imperative for success and essential both for productivity and survival” said Siamak Farah, CEO of InfoStreet. “By partnering with TimeCamp, we’re giving SkyDesktop users an easy and automatic way to track a crucial, but often overlooked, part of the project lifecycle.”
TimeCamp will soon be available in the SkyAppMarket and will offer SkyDesktop users a free starter version. Extended versions, with additional features and room for more employees, will also be available.
