InfoStreet Signs with Continental Federal Credit Union and Cabrillo Credit Union to Rollout the StreetSmart Platform

 

TARZANA, Calif. (December 18, 2007) - InfoStreet Inc., (www.infostreet.com) creator of the on-demand, IT software suite, StreetSmart, announced today that the company has added two new credit union customers to their client roster. InfoStreet's new clients include such industry leaders as Continental Federal Credit Union (the credit union for Continental Airlines) and Cabrillo Credit Union, both of whom signed-on to use InfoStreet's flagship software, StreetSmart. The software will be rolled out to offer these financial institutions advanced web-based applications aimed at enhancing employee workflow and increasing work efficiency. Designed to function as a standalone suite of in-house IT applications (email, calendaring, shared calendaring, task management, CRM, knowledge base, file sharing and more), StreetSmart's anywhere access makes it easy for credit unions, or any company, to connect employees in disparate locations under one "virtual roof."

According to Don Nora, CIO for Continental Airline's credit union (Continental FCU), "StreetSmart has been a financial and technical win for us. It has allowed me to unite our offices from coast to coast in real-time and has improved our collaboration and communication ten-fold - without the high cost off purchasing an exchange server."

For Cabrillo Credit Union, StreetSmart relieves their previous and burdensome task of managing an in-house email server across multiple branch locations. By using a Web-delivered software-as-a-service (Saas) model, StreetSmart has allowed them to centralize email activity and increase accessibility for employees who can now access work tools from any secure web browser. In addition, StreetSmart's archiving features allow Cabrillo to fulfill their Human Resource-compliance needs.

Frankie Duenas, VP of Information Technology for Cabrillo Credit Union explained that "the integration process was smooth and InfoStreet really catered to my credit union needs. Their support system is very diligent and kept me on track throughout the entire process. In addition, we found their Intranet service to be very intuitive and well thought out."

The new credit union wins highlight InfoStreet's ability to scale and install quickly. The company will continue to sign other credit unions in 2008 and has put several programs into place that are aimed solely at the credit union market.
